Rongmohol Shikkhaloy Campaign Conducts Student Counseling Seminar

The session provided students with an opportunity to learn and reflect on different aspects of mental wellbeing, including: Understanding and expressing emotions Managing stress and academic pressure Dealing with overthinking and negative thoughts Building self-confidence Practising healthy coping strategies Understanding the importance of seeking support when facing difficulties The session followed a participatory approach, allowing students to engage with the discussion and reflect on their own experiences and wellbeing. Child Protection and Positive Student Engagement Alongside the counseling session, students were introduced to important messages around child protection, personal safety, leadership and positive engagement. The programme emphasized the importance of creating supportive environments where students can feel safe, respected and encouraged to seek appropriate support when they face challenges. Strong Support from the School Community The programme was conducted with the valuable support of the Head Teacher of Reverend Paul’s High School, Khulna, whose cooperation was instrumental in facilitating the initiative. The teachers of the school also provided continuous cooperation and support throughout the programme, contributing to a structured and welcoming environment for the participating students. Rongmohol for Youth appreciates the school authority and teachers for their collaboration and commitment to creating meaningful learning and wellbeing opportunities for students. About Rongmohol Shikkhaloy Campaign Rongmohol Shikkhaloy Campaign is a school-based initiative of Rongmohol for Youth that seeks to create opportunities for students to learn, participate, develop leadership skills and engage with issues relevant to their wellbeing and communities. Through school-based sessions, awareness activities and youth engagement, the campaign aims to contribute to a more safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. The two-day engagement at Reverend Paul’s High School brought together a total of 232 female students, with 135 students participating on the first day and 97 students participating on the second day.
