Youth Leadership & Community Action Training Program | Phase 2: Registration Open for Young People Rongmohol for Youth launches the second phase of its Youth Leadership & Community Action Training Program, offering young people an opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills, develop practical competencies, and engage in meaningful community action. About the Program Young people have an essential role in building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities. However, meaningful youth participation requires more than enthusiasm. It also requires leadership skills, effective communication, critical thinking, practical knowledge, and opportunities to engage with real community challenges. Recognizing this need, Rongmohol for Youth is organizing the Youth Leadership & Community Action Training Program, Phase 2, a hybrid training initiative designed to support young people in developing their leadership capacity and strengthening their involvement in community development. Building on the experience of the first phase, this edition will combine structured learning sessions with practical assignments, collaborative activities, and community-focused learning opportunities. The program aims to help participants connect knowledge with practice and develop the confidence to contribute to positive social change. Training Focus Areas The program will cover key topics relevant to youth leadership and community engagement, including: Youth Leadership & Personal Development: Understanding leadership, self-awareness, responsibility, and teamwork. Communication & Public Speaking: Developing effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Critical Thinking & Information Verification: Strengthening analytical thinking and responsible information sharing. Human Rights & Child Protection: Understanding fundamental rights, child protection, and safeguarding principles. Gender Equality & Social Inclusion: Promoting equality, inclusion, and respect for diverse communities. Climate Justice & Community Resilience: Exploring climate-related challenges and the role of young people in local action. Community Mobilization & Advocacy: Learning how to identify community needs, engage stakeholders, and develop practical initiatives. Program Structure The training will follow a hybrid model combining online and offline learning opportunities. Participants will take part in eight structured sessions throughout November 2026. The program will also encourage practical engagement, collaborative learning, and the application of acquired knowledge to community-based challenges.
